New Years resolutions It's a new year, some say the true start of the new millennium. If you're like the rest of us,you've made a few resolutions to start things off right. There are virtually unlimited resources online for kicking bad habits, keeping track of your goals,and self-improvement in general. In their bi-monthly email newsletter, you'll find articles from others who have already stopped smoking and what helped them. It allows you to view all your accounts in one place. Keep track of your credit cards, email accounts, stock account balances, etc. all on one screen. It takes some time to enter all the information the first time, but the convenience and time saved later far outweighs this investment. It allows you to set up email alerts for such things as low funds in your checking account or major swings in your stocks. If you have a digital phone, cellular phone, or Palm brand handheld device you can receive notifications wirelessly. The Better Business Bureau wants to help you avoid people running scams to capitalize on your financial New Year's resolutions.
